Hi humans.  Sorry, there is not much to share these days.  ACE and I have been spending time mostly working at kitchen table or sometimes in laboratory.  She is trying hard to finish up becoming doctor that doesn’t help people.

This past weekend, however, we visited northern part of California to look for job (for ACE) and to visit old friends.  One of them is engineer at Google, and we were interested to see this dinosaur skeleton at office that is infested with flamingos. We noticed that Google tries very hard to provide engineers with goods and services so that they can work all the time and never go home, but I am not sure if flamingos are part of this.

Yesterday ACE baked a pandan cake for Girls’ Day and complained that although it came out of pan successfully, it tasted like grass. Then she said, “Hey, MOMO. You like grass and this cake has a hole. Do you want to wear it around your face and pretend to be lion?”

No. No, I don’t.

Crazy human.

Yesterday ACE went to girls’ STEM event (this means science, not plant sticks) and came back with a present from UCSD physicists. It is a kit for motor. Current flows through circle coil and creates a magnetic field, which interacts with field of strong magnet attached to outside of battery. How cool is that? ACE helped me put it together, and we added a pinwheel to the end for fun.

Motor is not so robust because of imbalance, but I will try to improve it. Summer is coming and I would be very excite to have combination fan and hypnosis machine.
