I was not sure how to feel about this weird snack that ACE made. After awhile I decided to just drink the tea.

I’m extremely fond of the Mexican cookies known variously as marranitos, cochinitos, or puerqitos, and have been wanting to make some ever since I moved into this giant hole full of grad students, where there are none to be found. I finally did it after five years! Today, I decided to forego the traditional shape in favor of something that is certainly not a pig, thank you very much~
Summer is ume season, which means it is time to make umeshu.
Directions:
Soak de-stemmed, washed green ume plums in water for a few hours to remove bitterness. Then combine with 40-60% weight rock sugar in a sterile jar and pour white liquor such as shochu to cover (jar should be about half full.)
Afterwards, wait 3 months to 2 years. (This is the difficult part for us.)
It is nice as a mixer with soda water, and always tastes like summer.

UNGlyfriend also helped me with circus training today. What a nice young man.
ACE was busy the past week helping her family to prepare for her brother’s graduation from high school. After she made a pile of ribbon necklaces for giving away (left), she made ramen on a stick (right). I am not sure about meaning of this but I think it has to do with going to college.
Helpful labbit job was to pretend to graduate, and test pose with stick.
Got lilikoi ice cream in my moustache at Shark’s Coffee. Or moustache in my ice cream?
There was a Dunny at the shop! He had a different outfit from the ones I met at my old job at KidRobot store. It seemed like fashion concept was mint chocolate chip ice cream cone.
Nice to meet you~
Nice shop photo and human too.
